Automatic tracking number sync

Automated Order Tracking for Dropshipping

Your customer orders from your store. You place and pay for the matching supplier order through DSers. When the supplier ships and generates a tracking number, DSers syncs that number to the corresponding store order. Your store then sends the shipping confirmation to your customer.

AliExpress order tracking

Automatically Sync AliExpress Tracking Numbers to Your Store

Your customer orders from your store, not from the AliExpress supplier. After you place and pay for the matching supplier order, the supplier ships the parcel and adds a tracking number to that AliExpress order.

DSers retrieves that tracking number, matches the supplier order to the customer’s order in your store, and syncs the number to the store order. Your store—not the supplier—can then send the shipping confirmation to your customer. This feature syncs tracking numbers; it does not track carrier scan events or delivery status.

The customer order must first be available in DSers, and you must place and pay for the related supplier order. DSers does not create a tracking number and cannot sync one until the supplier has shipped and uploaded it. Once the number is matched and synchronized, the connected store order can be fulfilled and the store can send its configured confirmation. The supplier does not communicate with the customer through this workflow.

Manual vs automated

Replace Manual AliExpress Tracking Number Entry

Without automatic sync, you must open each AliExpress supplier order, copy its tracking number, find the customer’s matching order in your store, and paste the number into that store order. With DSers, the supplier still generates the number, but DSers handles the transfer. You only review orders whose number is missing or later corrected.

What you do manually

  • Open each AliExpress order and copy its tracking number
  • Find the customer’s matching order in your store
  • Paste the number into the store order
  • Update fulfillment and trigger the store email yourself
  • Recheck AliExpress for a corrected number

What DSers automates

  • Retrieve the tracking number after the supplier ships
  • Match the supplier order to the corresponding store order
  • Sync the tracking number to that store order
  • Let the store fulfill and notify the customer according to your settings
  • Monitor eligible AliExpress tracking-number changes within the plan-specific window

Automated Order Tracking FAQ

How does DSers automate AliExpress order tracking?

After an AliExpress supplier ships and generates a tracking number, DSers retrieves it, links it to the DSers order, and syncs it to the matching order in your connected store.

Does this feature automatically track delivery status?

No. This feature automatically syncs tracking numbers. Carrier scan events, in-transit progress, delivery status, and shipment alerts belong to the separate Shipment Tracking & Alerts workflow.

Where do I find an AliExpress tracking number?

In AliExpress, open My Orders and view the shipping or logistics details after the supplier ships. The AliExpress order number identifies the purchase; it is not the carrier tracking number that DSers syncs.

Why has an AliExpress tracking number not appeared in my store?

The supplier may not have shipped or generated a number yet. Incomplete supplier payment, synchronization timing, premature manual fulfillment, or an incorrect account connection can also prevent the expected sync.

Does the customer contact the AliExpress supplier?

No. The customer purchases from and communicates with the dropshipper’s store. The dropshipper manages the supplier order through DSers, while the store sends customer-facing shipping communication according to its settings.

Can DSers sync a replacement AliExpress tracking number?

Automatic Tracking Number Update can monitor eligible AliExpress tracking-number changes within the time window available on the merchant’s plan. A documented manual sync option remains available for eligible orders when needed.
